After a long year and lots of hard work, it was great to have a few events to look forward to at the end of the year.

First off, our dancers put on an amazing show for our friends & families, with some beautiful new costumes and great routines that went down a treat.

We ran our annual Awards Night, which saw our dancer's recognised for their efforts during the year. Awards included Most Improved, Fundraiser of the Year, Best Attitude and several others, culminating with "Pupil of the Year". Congratulations to Matt on winning this for the first time - definitely well deserved.

We couldn't end the year without a social event, so we also took the chance to unwind at a Christmas BBQ & Pool Party. No dancing at all - just a lot of splashing, good food and good company!

As Christmas and a brand new year are just round the corner, we just want to take a moment to say thank you and congratulations to all our dancers who have made 2017 a year to remember for the Roberts Academy!

Classes are on break for most, so enjoy that hard-earned rest. Lessons will resume for 2018 in Late January with a week long workshop and our customary Start of Year BBQ & Pool Party (more splashing, good food and good company!).

We've got a big year planned! A group of RAID dancers are hoping to head across to Glasgow for the World Championships, and we've got Nationals in beautiful Cairns to look forward to! Plus we've already been brainstorming plans to make 2018 our best yet.
