Last week saw Alexandra take to the Worlds stage again, competing at the 2024 World Irish Dancing Championships in Glasgow.

The World Championships is the pinnacle of competitive Irish Dancing with dancers around the World qualifying for the event at their local Regional Oireachtas. Alex has been overseas for the last 6 weeks training and competing in London in preparation, dancing with some of the World’s best dancers.

Alex danced 2 very strong rounds and was unfortunate to miss the call back for day 2. Regardless it was a valuable experience for Alex who will no doubt put everything she has learnt to good use on the local competition scene when she returns.
